USS John S. McCain
Both USS Fitzgerald and USS John S. McCain were 7th Fleet ships. Why isn’t the admiral in the dock as well? Or instead?

At one time responsibility went up the chain as well as down. I think the modern Navy is a much different one than my great grandfather served in during WWII.

there has been a series of incidents.
This is on top of resentmentthat of 25% of the island being taken up by US bases. The Okinawans feel they carry an unnecessary burden as 75% of all US personel in Japan are based on the tiny island.
